Cavelier Abogados, a Colombian firm with over 70 years of experience and international recognition in intellectual property and business law, announces its merger with Consuelo Benjumea & Asociados, a firm specializing in intellectual property, health product registration, competition, and consumer protection, based in the City of Medellín.

With this merger, the firm consolidates its presence in Bogotá and Medellín, expanding its capacity to serve domestic and international clients operating in the country and reinforcing its position in one of Colombia’s most important business hubs.

Profile of Consuelo Benjumea

Attorney and Certified Public Accountant from the University of Medellín, with a specialization in Industrial Property, Copyright, and New Technologies from the Externado University of Colombia, and in Finance from EAFIT University.

She has been recognized for several consecutive years in Chambers Latin America as one of the most prominent intellectual property attorneys in Colombia. She is an active member of INTA and ASIPI and teaches the trademark protection module in the Diploma in Brand Management and Administration at EAFIT University.

With over 30 years of experience, she joins Cavelier Abogados as a partner.
